I highly recommend this because it works. I have very oily skin and have a lot of trouble with eyeshadows not lasting all day. Most would either crease or fade away completely until I found this. I can do anything and my eyeshadow does not budge... even when sleeping! I really can not say enough about the staying power of this primer. It is really amazing. It goes on completely unnoticeable so there is no problem with blending and it makes your eyeshadow look more vibrant. The only negative about this is the packaging. When you think the bottle is empty remove the stopper and you will find it is not. It is a little pricey but worth every penny!

Urban Decay Eye shadow Primer Potion is marketed as a three-in-one product. The company claims that it prevents eye shadow creasing, brightens color applied to the eyelids, and helps eye makeup last throughout the day. The Primer Potion is supposed to dry quickly, be invisible on the lids, and attract eye shadow. Silicon is a main ingredient and its silky, soft consistency is touted as the "magic" behind the primer’s effectiveness. The Primer Potion meets a majority of these claims and is a superb eye shadow primer.
The product’s biggest "plus" is that it truly does prevent eye shadow creasing all day long. Regardless of the humidity level or the eye shadow consistency (for example, cream vs. powder), the Primer Potion keeps lines at bay. As Urban Decay claims, the Primer Potion also preserves the color of the eye makeup. Makeup stays bright and remains where originally applied.
In addition to the benefits above, Primer Potion dries quickly after application. It works best if eye shadow is applied soon after the primer. The product is invisible on the eye lids and only a small amount of primer is needed to be effective. As originally claimed, the silicon in the product lends a silky, smooth quality to the lids and feels quite pleasant.
A downside to this product is that Primer Potion does not brighten eye shadow or "attract" color, as Urban Decay promises. The neutral primer disappears underneath makeup and does not change the hue in any way.
Overall, the Primer Potion delivers on the company's most important promises. It prevents creasing and increases the life of eye shadow. Although it does not brighten color, this is a minor downside when compared to the benefits. Primer Potion is an excellent buy and well worth the money.
