I had been thinking about getting laser hair removal for some time so I was very happy when I saw this product. I went out and bought it almost immediately thinking about all the money I would save in the long run. I have been using this product faithfully and am very happy with the results. I have used it over my entire body. Legs, arms, bikini, armpit and everywhere else I thought I needed it. My hair is black, coarse and thick so the hair has always bothered me. The Tria Personal Laser Hair Removal System is meant to be used every 2 weeks. So following Tria's instructions I started giving myself treatments. I started with smaller areas first. Mainly my bikini line and armpits. At first I started on the highest setting because I have what I thought was a pretty high pain threshold. Boy was I wrong! The Tria on the highest setting was a lot more painful then I had thought it would be. After I go over the shock I turned the setting down to 2 and then up to 3 for my bikini and armpit areas. At settings 2 and 3 the Tria felt fine. I have seen numerous reviews of people saying the Tria was to painful for them and what I have heard there is actually less pain with the Tria then other lasers when getting laser hair removal. I started using the Tria according to the directions and after the third month saw noticeably less hair growing back in. I was very happy. The hair that did grow back was a lot thinner and that is also a plus. I did see the results as being patchy with darker hairs growing back in also. At that point knowing that hair grows in stages I knew I simply did not catch all the hairs and kept using the Tria. I did not get upset like I have seen in some reviews. I am now just about completely hair free and could not be any happier. I think the Tria is great!
