Like so many other people I had heard such great things about thermage. It is described as a miracle treatment. I started to look at the reviews. The only reviews I found were mostly negative. There were some positive reviews so I decided to go talk to someone myself to see what I should expect. I went for my consultation and was told pretty much what I could reasonably expect from the treatment. I decided to give it a try for myself. I am 56 years old, and have sagging skin and wrinkles. I found this to be very uncomfortable. Very painful. My face was also swollen, red, and very painful. Luckily the swelling, and redness only took 2 days to go away. My skin stayed very sensitive for around a week. You can not tell until the swelling goes away completely if you have had any results. I feel much luckier than others who claim to have seen no effect. I actually started to see results in the second week. My skin did look firmer and not anywhere as saggy as it had. Some of the wrinkles had also cleared up, though some remain. I would recommend this to people who do not a facelift. For me I would get the facelift if I had to do it all over. This is very expensive... and painful. For so-so results.
