St. Ives advertises this product as the #1 selling facial scrub. It supposedly gently removes dull, dead skin cells and deep cleans skin, leaving it smooth and healthy. The facial scrub contains natural ingredients, including apricot extract, Swiss glacial water, and botanicals, which are supposed to nourish the skin. The company claims Apricot Scrub will not clog pores or dry out the face. In reality, this facial scrub meets St. Ives' claims.
Apricot Scrub has numerous benefits. As St. Ives claims, it does a very effective job at removing dry, dead skin from the face. For those who've had little success with other products, this is the answer! It truly does leave behind smooth, soft skin, even after the first use. Many cleansers claim to wash away dead skin cells, but don't ever do so. This is the real thing users will be very pleased with the results.
This tester had combination skin and very little sensitivity to skin care products. No discomfort was noted with use of the Apricot Scrub. It left behind a rosy, glowing complexion and had a pleasant, apricot fragrance. Following use of the scrub, both moisturizer and makeup glided on easily. This St. Ives product does not dry out the skin whatsoever. It should be noted, however, that Apricot Scrub is not ideal for daily cleansing. Such use would likely result in dryness and irritation. It works best when alternated with a non-exfoliating cleanser.
There were no large downsides to this product. Users simply need to make sure they rinse their faces well because the scrub adheres slightly to the skin.
Overall, this product is one of the most effective in the facial scrub category. It is also very affordable. Don't miss out on this one!
