Whenever I look at my face in the mirror, I often see those laugh lines found in the corner of my eyes, and then I sigh. I am not even thirty and yet, I look fifty with those wrinkles in my eyes. Not to mention the bags I have underneath my eyes that are complaining to be eye suitcases in the near future if I go on with my stressful job. I mean, it was probably okay if people considered laughing all the time an asset to your face, and who cares if I get wrinkles because of it. But all they comment is how old you look when they see those wrinkles on your face. How frustrating can that be? I promised to do something about it before I reached the age of thirty or feel frustrated and depressed for the rest of my life.
I go consult a dermatologist on what to be done about it. She suggested having a laser treatment to remove all those unwanted wrinkles and surgery to remove the eye bags. Upon asking how much it would cost, I shook my head vehemently, saying that I cannot afford it. I was almost defeated when she mentioned that there is an eye cream that I can try, manufactured by SkinCeuticals to treat this kind of problem. So I went to the drugstore and purchase a bottle of this eye cream for a little bit more than $50, which is over my budget, but hopefully worth every cent. I put a small amount on my finger tips and massaged it around my eye area with circular motions, avoiding the eyebrow. After application, I stared at myself in the mirror, waiting for any immediate change on my eyes. Of course, I was disappointed but I still gave it a chance of continuous regimen for a week and if nothing happened, then I will discontinue its use, lest it harms my skin. To my surprise, I saw that my bags have shrunk noticeably and the lines are diminishing in size and amount. The eye cream was a success! I will continue using it as long as I have wrinkles and other signs of aging.
