I love going to the beach, usually just to bask in the warm sun. I also work part time as a lifeguard making me quite lucky to be living only several miles from the beach. Unfortunately, a recent trip to my dermatologist gave forth some bad news about my skin. It seems that because of frequent exposure to the sun, using only cheap sunscreens to protect myself, I have developed early signs of aging. That would be okay if I were in my forties and fifties but to be looking old at the age of sixteen is downright embarrassing and insulting.
I tried discussing this condition with my co-lifeguard during an assignment with her. She said that she used to have this condition until her dermatologist recommended the use of C E Ferulic manufactured by SkinCeuticals. She said that it is a new breakthrough by SkinCeuticals which ups the skin's natural protection eight times against the harmful effects of the ultraviolet rays of the sun by neutralizing free radicals, and collagen synthesis. It uses a combination of fifteen percent pure vitamin C or ascorbic acid, one percent vitamin E or alpha tocopherol, and ferulic acid, making it a deadly opponent against oxidants. Sunscreens work only on about fifty five percent free radicals. Using CE Ferulic in conjunction with the sunscreen will provide almost a hundred percent protection from the sun's UV rays.
Anyway, after all those discussions on its benefits and greatness on the skin, I decided to purchase one and try to see if it lives up to its reputation. I didn't know what to do so I just applied it on the areas of the body that are frequently exposed to the sun and waited for any results to occur, not really expecting anything to happen immediately. I have now been using this 6 months and think it is great. I use it everyday as part of my anti aging regimen. Unlike sunblock that washes off easily this does not and actually helps your skin at the same time!
