I love this cleanser! I had never used Philosophy products before. I was told about this by a friend who had been using it. She claimed it was the best cleanser she had ever used. I decided to give it a try and am glad I did. I have very fair, and somewhat sensitive skin and this is very easy on my skin and does not irritate it at all. I was worried it might and was very glad to find out it did not. This cleanser does an excellent job at removing even the toughest makeup. It does not sting or irritate the eyes like some cleansers can do when trying to remove stubborn eye makeup. It has a very nice scent and always leaves my skin feeling completely clean and refreshed. I highly recommend it.

The philosophy brand facial cleanser, purity made simple, is touted as a time-saving product which completes three tasks in one: removing makeup, cleansing the skin, and toning. It is intended to dissolve and remove all types of cosmetics, as well as dirt and oil. In reality, this cleanser meets these claims and is an effective product.
Purity made simple has a silky, creamy consistency when applied to the skin. Because it does not erupt in bubbles when water is added, the cleanser maintains its lotion-like feel and glides pleasantly over the face. The smell is light and pleasant, and the cleanser can be used near the eye area without inviting irritation. Purity made simple is a mild, gentle product perfect for most skin types. Only a dime-sized amount of product is needed to effectively cleanse the entire face. Philosophy's claim that this cleanser is an all-in-one product is accurate. A user can literally remove a day's worth of makeup, grime, and oil with one product. After rinsing, the face is left clean and soft; purity made simple does not dry out or tighten the skin whatsoever.
The one minor downside of purity made simple is that it does not effectively remove eye makeup, particularly mascara. It will erase most traces of eye shadow, but a second cleanser is needed to target the remains. This is an insignificant negative, however, because this cleanser works effectively on all other types of makeup. Overall, purity made simple lives up to philosophy's claims. It effectively cleanses, removes makeup, and tones the face in one step, leaving the skin soft and supple. Purity made simple is an excellent buy and users may find themselves refusing to return to another brand.
