Not feeling that this was that expensive I decided to try it. I do love Origins products and have been using them for a very long time. The self tanning cream does not feel oily, or greasy on the skin. It is light and leaves the skin feeling very refreshed and moist. It does not cake on the skin like some self tanners do. It goes on very evenly which is also nice. It did not streak or leave any lines on my face. I also had no trouble washing it off my hands. An added plus. I have tried some self tanners that left me with orange fingers. Luckily this did not have any of the problems that a lot of the self tanners I have tried did. Once applied this does have color so you can see exactly where it is going which is very nice. There is no guessing as to where it has been applied and where you might have missed. The color is very nice and looks perfectly even with minimal work. I do feel in my case that this was not dark enough. Everyone has a different opinion on how they want their tan and I felt this should have been darker. Also applying more did nothing to make it any darker. Overall I do like this and just wish it was darker. It goes on very smooth, does not streak, does not stain the fingers, and did not cause any skin irritation. If you are looking for a subtle tan this is it.
