Soap is necessary for hygiene, but the scaly and dry feeling is something we could all live without! Olay Body Wash Plus Radiance Ribbons is a masterful moisturizing daily use body wash for all types of skin. There is a noticeable sheen after a few days of use, thus living up to the 'luminous brighteners' claim on the packaging, but it is not a glittery or artificially procured effect. Instead, Olay Body Wash Plus Radiance Ribbons appears to exfoliate well while supplying softeners and moisturizers. The glow is most likely the after effects of the gentle exfoliation and exposure of new skin layers.
One great benefit of using Olay Body Wash Plus Radiance Ribbons I have found is the moisturizing aspect allows me to skip on lathering with lotion after every shower. I'm a dedicated lotion user in the winter time, but living in warmer climates, the summer is not a time when I want to put more products on my skin than necessary.
The first few uses of Olay Body Wash Plus Radiance Ribbons is a little odd since the body wash doesn't rinse away as easily as other washes of lower quality. The only criticism I find with the product is it can be quite difficult to remove if you accidentally leave large globs on the shower wall or floor surface. The other slight problem, though not really a true criticism, is keeping your husband or boyfriend from using it! The fragrance of Olay Body Wash Plus Radiance Ribbons is slightly fruity, but light and pleasing. It is perfect for those desiring a more subtle scent over the more popular super fragrant body products and not wishing to go to the full extreme of no fragrance at all.
The price of Olay Body Wash Plus Radiance Ribbons is at the high end for supermarket bath products, but a great deal considering the quality is comparable to department store alternatives. If 'radiance' isn't a quality you feel your skin needs, there are other selections available in the line. I have also used Olay Body Wash Plus Crème Ribbons, and it worked well. The only reason I switched was to move to the gender neutral color of green for my husband's sake.
