When I asked my mother as to what she wanted for her sixtieth birthday, she answered at once, "I want my youth back!" Looking at her, you would think that she would immediately volunteer to go on a time machine if this will make her look young again. Don't get me wrong. She is not the type of person who obsesses with her appearance everyday of her life. Maybe it's just that she being sixty feels really old for her and it is really frustrating for her to look at the mirror and see her skin sagging with wrinkles all around.
So I went to my neighborhood beauty shop and browsed around their various anti-aging products. The Olay Regenerist stood out, with their claim that you can have a face lift, right in your own home, without the expense and danger of surgery. This I had to try and see. I asked the aesthetician regarding this treatment, and she introduced to me one of their bestsellers, the Olay Regenerist Thermal Contour and Lift At-Home Treatment. This product claims to visibly lift skin as early as the first application because of the infusion of water to stimulate natural collagen production and tighten the skin. The aesthetician also suggested using the Daily Regenerating Serum, the Eye-Lifting Serum, and the UV Defense Regenerating Lotion. I thought, if this is what it takes for my mom to look happy on her birthday, so be it. I purchased the whole package, which incidentally is still a way lot cheaper than having the actual face lift.
Before her birthday, I took her to the parlor for a new hairdo after which I applied the Olay Regenerist treatment. I massaged it onto her forehead, to the face and neck. She asked me what I was putting on her face, since it felt a bit warm and tingly. I didn't say anything but just continued to massage it on her skin. After rinsing her face, I let her look at the mirror to see if there were any changes on her appearance. When she saw her face, she broke into tears. I thought that the treatment was a failure. But, she looked up with a great big smile on her face and said that she looked fantastic! She felt like her cells was tightening up, and lifting her skin to redefine the contour of her face. She looked young again, after just one application. This Regenerist treatment really works! This treatment made her day. Kudos to Olay for a great product!
