After a long time considering this procedure I finally decided to give it a try
for my wrinkles and sun damage. I liked the idea of this peel because it is less
expensive than most of the other peels and is supposed to work just as well if
not better in some cases. I made the appointment and went to see a dermatologist
and got the okay. They also recommended some laser treatments. I did not want to
try the laser and decided to just try the blue peel. Figuring I could go for the
laser if I really needed it later. The peel lasted around 20 to 30 minutes. I
did feel some swelling and it was slightly uncomfortable. It did go away after
several minutes and felt fine after that. From what I understand this is normal
from this peel and nothing to worry about. I had never had a peel before and did
get a little nervous through the swelling feeling. I took about 6 days beofore
there was a very noticeable difference in the way my skin looked and felt.
It did take me a good 15 days before everything was completely back to normal. I
am very glad I tried this and wish I would have sooner. My skin looks 100%
better.
