Does your skin shine so much that you can actually act as a mirror for other people to see their faces? Or does your skin have too much oil that you can actually scrape it off and use it to fry an egg? I do. My skin is so oily that I have to blot my face at least every hour so as to not drip. And if that doesn't make things worse, my pores look like a porcupine considered my face as a nice place to rest for the night and left all those craters in the morning. Major skin treatments are out of the question unless I would like to file for bankruptcy. Even other skin care products cost much, especially if you had to use them daily.
So, feeling down, I strolled down the aisles of Walmart, actually looking for something to cure my depression, like a bag of nachos with hot tangy salsa. (Yum!) I was looking over those skin products and reciting each price tag aloud, $35.99, $48.95, $172.65!! $28.45, $18.55, $2.99?? I did a double take on the price tag. A face mask that costs only $2.99 and with 33% more?! I read the product detail on the tube: it claims to dry up pimples, remove blackheads and shrink pores. It even says that Queen Helene formulated this product. This I really got to see. So, along with the nachos and salsa, which actually costs more than that face mask, I went home to relax and try on this mask.
It was quite challenging to get it out of the tube but I managed. I spread this thick gooey green substance on my face, according to the directions, and wait about ten to fifteen minutes before I rinse it off. I feel like the mask is pinching the skin of my face to suck out all the blackheads although I was more concerned with what my pores will look like after. Before rinsing, I take a good look at myself at the mirror, which wasn't a sight to behold, with a cracking green mask on your face, and wish out loud that my fairy godmother would her me and grant my wish of having beautiful skin. I then wash off the mask with water, taking care to remove all traces of it. Then, I look again at the mirror. I did not recognize the face staring at me. The skin looked so smooth, not even a trace of shine can be seen. And my pores! I can't even see them. I was very astonished and overjoyed! Now, I believe that there really are fairy godmothers in the form of Queen Helene.

I'll admit that I consider this masque to be my "secret weapon." The Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque is rather unique. For one thing it smells very minty and is extremely green. This is a masque that if people see you in it, they are going to be started and do a double-take like in the movies when they see a woman wearing a facial.
But this is a wonderful product and well worth startling the neighbors in case they see you all great and green and all that. It is especially great if you have a case of "party pimples" and have a troublesome breakout that you need to tame. This masque is gentle enough for combination skin but is tough enough to tame the oily part of your skin. If you have acne and you use this masque you'll see the pimples clear up.
The Queen Helene Masque in Mint Julep is a great masque to use a couple of days before a special event. You'll have clear skin and look great. It is also very inexpensive, just under three dollars for a tube. Queen Helene makes several different types of masques, all are quite excellent.
