Endermologie

Endermologie was probably developed by someone who spent a lot of time with modeling clay as a child. The basic principle is endermologie uses rollers to perform deep tissue massage to reduce the appearance of cellulite. For strong results, clients will need multiple treatment sessions, and then continue monthly appointments to keep cellulite under control. The good news is there are relatively no health risks with endermologie, and most clients perceive successful results.

Compared to its cosmetic surgery and services alternatives, endermologie is a very mild procedure. For about 45 minutes, clients at subjected to deep tissue massage of areas with cellulite. The discomfort is comparable to intense massage therapy, though peoples sensitive to pain or bruising may find soreness and mild discoloration afterwards.

As far as effectiveness goes, the results are mixed. Practitioners recommend significant water intake prior to the procedure. The water expands the cells, both fat and skin, to help improve the mobility. Obviously, the physical manipulation will not be permanent, so the down side is clients must continue treatments indefinitely for full-time cellulite control. Due to the cellular make up and fat proportions, some may not see results at all.

The most successful candidates of endermologie for cellulite control will be fairly fit and within healthy weight and body fat percentages. Endermologie is not a replacement for liposuction, which removes fat from the body, but instead an attempt to rearrange it so the body is more pleasing to the eye. In fact, liposuction does not always address cellulite problems since the condition is the result of improperly shaped fat cells, and the body must always have some level of fat in it to survive.

Most endermologie sessions cost between $75-$125, and aestheticians estimate between six and nine sessions are required for strong visible results. Clients must continue endermologie sessions to keep the results. Since endermologie is completely non-invasive, there is little risk of infection or health concerns. People with medical conditions that cause easy bruising and slower healing times though should not engage in endermologie without first consulting their regular physician.
