Not happy with the way that liquid makeup never really matched my skin I decided to give Bare Escentuals a try. I really like the fact it was natural and had built in sun protection. The kit came with bare minerals eyeshadows vanilla sugar, peach puff, soft focus explore, bare minerals liner shadow in fashionista, plus a contour shadow brush, eye defining brush and an eyeliner brush. It also comes with tips for applying and blending the makeup. The three steps for using this are swirl, tap, buff. Sounds easy? Let me tell you that swirl, tap, buff = HUGE mess and powder everywhere. Be prepared to take some time to get the application right. It also does take some work to blend this correctly so it looks natural. Be careful you don't apply to much... it will look like you decided to try cake icing as makeup. The trick is to start with as little as possible and keep trying until you get it right. I must say it does make my skin look completely natural. It is not shiny or heavy feeling at all. I have also never had any breakouts form this. I did later find out that this contains bismuth oxychloride which may cause breakouts in people with acne prone skin. So if you are acne prone I would be careful using this.
